Sundance 2011: Catechism cataclysm Todd Rohal displays made a statement.

Storytelling in all its forms is skewered in the cataclysm catechism. The shish kebab of wild characters melts together stories in stories until the lines between the Bible, Mark Twain and Campfire stories are erased, the Viewer is transported to River in a divinely bizarre and funny story.

Father Billy, a young priest who has lost interest in the Church, decides to take a sabbatical year. He hunts his friend to lycee Robbie, proposing consents to a trip by canoe. On the water, the two men remember Billy days as keyboardist Christian group and guitarist Robbie for a group of metal, but when the approach of the night, they realize that they have lost their way - and this is where things get weird.

Encouraged by the Commander of comedy shows and skilful manipulation by filmmaker Todd Rohal, catechism cataclysm turns a fantastic yarn that sheds light on the power of absurd fiction.
