With the final season of The Walking Dead coming this weekend and now firmly established entertainment as a huge success rating - the show is already rated property never forthcoming Mac - honcho Chief Frank Darabont has decided that what he must do to prepare for the season is fire any writing staff. And, if necessary, replace them with anyone.
Now, this is not as extreme as it might seem, but optics are terrible. The Darabont six first season episode has written two itself and apparently rewrites all four other, which means he participation direct, heavy in all six scripts itself. And if this is the case - if Darabont now considers himself another David E Kelley, Aaron Sorkin or j. Michael Straczynski - and it is logical would question the necessity of maintaining a permanent staff in writing to pay.? Word is that he intends to use freelancers when needed instead of this, and will continue to have a direct stake in writing process itself should be really a need to ensure continuity.
Having said that, although it may make sense from the perspective of the Darabont, it seems certainly terrible. Because most people are generally believes that success should be rewarded, you know, rewards. Instead of unemployment. Could it be that the responsible authorities feeling as the show is succeed despite writing rather than because of it and are now seeking to make a change before the launch of the second season much longer? I am personally not really a fan of the show and were not much impressed by what I saw what appears to be not out in the field of the possibility of me. What do you think?
