Douglas and his family spent Wednesday at Walt Disney World.
Universal Orlando spokeswoman Lindsey Mammen said the couple and their children enjoyed the full Wizarding World experience — "the family also sampled Butterbeer, got fitted for wands at Ollivanders and toured Hogwarts Castle" during their visit Saturday, Mammen said.
Douglas said he is suffering from stage-four throat cancer during a recent appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. Despite the severity of the diagnosis, Douglas said his doctors are optimistic for his recovery and have said his chances of survival are 80 percent.
In the photo distributed by Universal, Douglas and Zeta-Jones are seen riding alongside their children on the "Hippogriff" family roller coaster, formerly the Flying Unicorn.
The kids decked out in full Potter-regalia — wearing the colors of Gryffindor house, for those familiar with the franchise — including the iconic scarves worn by Hogwarts students in the popular films.
Wizarding World opened to huge lines and a celebrity cast — most stars of the film series were on hand — in June but has been drawing crowds since unofficial previews began in late May. It features a theme-park likeness of Hogsmeade Village and the popular "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey" ride in Hogwarts Castle. The "Flight of the Hippogriff" roller-coaster is joined at the attraction by the twin-coaster "Dragon Challenge."
