Austin Film Festival announced the public award winners this year mercredi.Les prices are based on the vote during the festival, which ended on October 28.

Winners:

Feature Audience winner contest:"Export Raymond." Writer and Director: Phil Rosenthal (read our interview with Rosenthal here.)

Narrative Feature competition winner: "Dig". writer and Director: Stephen Belyeu

Documentary fiction competition winner:"Make Believe."Director: J. Clay Tweel

Comedy Vanguard winning audience:"Justice brother."Author: Dax Shepard.Realisateurs: David Palmer & Dax Shepard (read our interview with Shepard here.)

Story short Audience Award Winners (ex aequo): "Blind Date."Author: Abigail Blackmore.Director: Joe Rosen.Aussi: 'sleep study'. writers and Directors: Kerri Lendo & John Merriman

Narrative students winning short hearing: "A Lone Star State."Writer and Director: Joseph Saito

Documentary short winner hearing: "Rose Chaddis."Realization: Sweta Vohra

Short animation winner hearing: "Barko."Writer and Director: Allison Craig

Light also announced the dates for the next festival, October 20-17, 2011.
