A full review will follow when it opens wide, but it screened at the Paramount yesterday evening (27 October), so here are a few thoughts.

-Of course, this is the version of Cattail WRESTLER. Of course. Same relationship sideways Athletics popular and mainstream culture, body manipulation same questions, he used steroids, it pays to vomit, even to linger on rituals (ring, breaking the shoe toe dressing), stuff like that.

- But it is also much plus.Balletsploitation claustrophobia, paranoid, female, psychedelic, contested, monstrous, FUNNY, sexy.

-Unlike entirely too many movies in General and a writer as light festival, contrast strongly with the "Black Swan" dialogue is virtually useless. The lowest scenes are style talkiest and adhesive felt exhibition-fairy tale.No yammering here mumblecore. -frame is tout.Il could thus be a silent movie, and it is by no means a bad thing. This is the old school cinema.

-Casting is not perfect.Natalie Portman as child Nina has to wear the film in his face, which often takes the whole picture, but it offers attentive, measured way.Mila Kunis is excellent as the rival/opposite of Nina, China doll superego Portman.Winona Ryder's id number as the head of the former company on the verge of retiring (and bitter about it) is brilliant (and slightly average) stunt 1990s casting, but it is fully set.Vincent Cassel kills as artistic director lewd and Barbara Hershey has never been more terrifying (even when her lips are afraid).Who knew that she was hearing this time for "What?" that happened to Baby Jane

-However, - Rorschach apartment in Kassel test is a bit much."Lake of swans" is the only ballet is concerned?

-Aronofsky is not shy about referencing his background, but you mind. There are a ton of Polanski early and amount just for Cronenberg here. There is also a bit of horror Japanese body as imagined by filmmakers such as Takashi Miike and Shinya Tsukamoto.Il is not that surprising that Aronofsky summer speaks as a "Wolverine II" helmer and what is called "The Machine man."

-There are strobus.Strobus very graves.Vous have been warned.

-But Aronofsky made peace with his impulses psychedelic and experienced much better Taming his side baroque .c ' is the level of "Pi" that drugginess "Requiem For a Dream" slicked it is still a trip in the rabbit, but by hand and gritty hole rather than glossy (or gaga as "Fountain") MTV Street.

-It is an explosion.
