This seems to be the year of Norwegian folk tales on the big screen. The Nordic countries - and the North of Europe in general - have myth and folklore which are little known outside their own borders, but with the Troll Hunter striking Sundance and Aleksander Nordaas rich traditions of Thale coming later this year, the Norway mythical creatures receive a big boost.
Image of the Nordaas revolves around of a huldra - an attractive forest spirit that appears on the front a young beautiful woman, but which also tale cow and back seems like a hollow tree out. The huldra is known to offer rewards to those who fill their sexually and death to those who fail to do so and are also prone to stealing human babies. You can learn more about them here.
Thale takes a realistic approach, largely free on the effects of the material and, if the image is still several months before it is complete, we are proud of the first the first teaser here on Twitch. Check - and a gallery of images, more trailer for previous short Nordaas in rooms - film below.
