Review of KIMI No. TOMODACHI (Ryuchi Hiroki)

After a small break, I've rediscovered recently Ryuichi Hiroki. You've seen reviews of the new type and friend, someone please save the world pass by not too long ago, Hiroki continues his winning streak with Kimi no Tomodachi. A film by fairly typical Hiroki appealing easily his fans but also assets to new audiences. If you are on a relaxing secondary Japanese drama, this is your chance.

In Kimi no Hiroki Tomodachi (Your Friends) refers to the familiar places. There his wife leads his semi-realistic style lead and a fair portion of the Japanese to fill two heures.Si long film theatre you love her more early films chances are you may not be immediately affected by it, but it is a relatively accessible film and Hiroki-virgins could hurt little if they started with this particular film.

While all standard Japanese drama usual ingredients are present, Hiroki things by different yet interesting perspective to tell his story. Mainly by Flash-backs, said the film sees Nakahara (a wet behind the ears journalist) arrives in a small town to report on a school for children with disabilities.Where he met with Emi, introverted girl who really don't like his little world protegee.Par flashbacks of his youth through intrusion, one learns to emotional wall of Emi, built to maintain most of the people at a distance. At the same time, we strengthen the relationship between the two.

The return of flame not necessarily focus on the Emi but rather that they are revealed one of the people in his environment immediat.Grace these relationships learn us more about Emi bottom. This could take some is used for the film actually switches main characters some time so that the real protagonist is usually just a secondary character in these flashbacks. One approach a bit unusual, but it works well.

Visually, Hiroki is at the top of his game. Some clever camera "realistic" at the beginning of the movie (a few shots at the school for children with disabilities feel like documentary material) you easily carry drama, more stylized shots later bring some Visual brilliance to the film. It is a little careful trick which brings together the best of both worlds.

The soundtrack is a little more than usual poppy. It is not the first time Hiroki works with J - pop ballads, but there are a few here. Too many irrelevant and they tariffs between the more traditional dramatic music (think soft piano tunes). It is not really my type preferred music, but how Hiroki integrates these songs in the film is really irritating.

Acting is foreseeable high once more.Very young cast really gives everything to make the characters to life.Hiroki I saw in person, and that helps a little to try to find out how he managed to get such representations of this young cast .the ' man radiates a sense of control and has a soothing aura that can easily put people at ease.Again, an accomplishment to get the type of performances from your players again and again.

Kimi no Tomodachi is the ideal film is that you desire benefit a small trip in time, casual school secondaire.Soccer training, hanging with friends, to learn how to make time to any dramatic life throws at you. This is all, wrapped in a pleasant, comfortable and warm lining. Now, Hiroki is very familiar with the mechanics of the genre and it turns the wheels like a true pro.

The film is a little long, so it toggles continually perspective along the voie.Cela may alienate some people wait a plot closely wrapped, at the same time it provides a little more variety to adequately fulfill the 125 minutes duree.Tout depends on what you are looking for in a film.Personnellement, I loved the variation and unique appearance he provided on Emi and its history.

Kimi no Tomodachi is a perfect little traiter.Il is not a very original film, but she brought enough elements to differentiate himself from other Japanese drama while retaining the usual features strongly in place.Hiroki is one of the masters of the genre, and if you've not seen any of his films now, it is a good opportunity of the faire.Si you're already a fan of his work, it is a recommended final.
